My name is Noor de Ruijter. I am a Dutch product designer and artist who intertwines her creativity and passion for design with the natural world around us. My childhood experiences taught me to see and capture the beauty in simple things. This youthful wonder is the core of my creative expression. With a focus on installations and functional product design, I translate my unique perspective on the world into enchanting creations that ignite the imagination. For example I am observing shifts in light and studying intricate structures and patterns. By integrating natural elements into my products, I create a connection between humans and nature.
As a continuation of my studies in Product Design at the School of Arts Utrecht (HKU), I am excited to further my education with a Master of Arts & Culture at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. This next step will allow me to complement my hands-on design skills acquired at HKU with theoretical knowledge in art and design.
